Brent grew up on job sites and trained as a fine arts designer. That combination is uncommon in this industry — most designers haven't run a crew, and most builders haven't spent years thinking about proportion, material, and line. Each engagement begins with the site: its grade, its orientation, its relationship to the structure behind it. The design follows from that, not from a catalog.
